Talanton is thrilled to announce an investment in ARC Ride, Africa's leading e-mobility
pioneer. This strategic partnership will revolutionize urban transportation with ARC Ride's innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) infrastructure, targeting 30,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2027. This expansion will significantly reduce CO2 emissions and create thousands of stable jobs for low-income communities.
ARC Ride's cutting-edge solutions include cost-effective battery swapping stations and the state-of-the-art Boda Boda electric vehicles. Their solar-powered infrastructure and real-time data management platform ensure efficiency and sustainability. This investment aligns with Talanton's mission to drive impactful, market-driven solutions that promote environmental and social progress in Africa and beyond.
Biofarms Limited has successfully acquired new machinery, increasing its avocado oil production capacity from 2 tons per hour to 8 tons per hour. This significant upgrade will greatly enhance operational efficiency and reduce wastage, marking an exciting milestone in the company's growth. Talanton's partnership has been crucial in making this expansion possible, positioning Biofarms to meet rising market demand. The new machinery sets the stage for Biofarms to further its impact in the agricultural sector and beyond.
