Do You Want to Experience Real Peace?

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

Happy New Year!

How many times have you heard or said these words over the past few weeks? A greeting intended to share joy and hope as we embark on yet another year.

Last month, we celebrated Christmas, the birth of Christ. The birth of our Savior, who we call Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Yet many are not at peace. Are you?

I wish you Shalom.

What does Shalom mean? It means peace. And a host of other words related to peace - harmony, wholeness, rest, welfare, health, tranquility, completeness and prosperity.

This year – and every year – let's breathe in and share the message of Shalom, encouraging ourselves and others to be at peace through Jesus.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6: 24 – 26

We wish you a Happy New Year … and Shalom, David and the Talanton Team P.S. Please join us in prayer for our portfolio businesses in East Africa, their management teams, employees and all those living in desperate poverty throughout the world.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.

I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
