"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12
We are excited to announce that Talanton has invested in another high-impact, life-changing, job-creating business!
Our latest investment is Power Resources International - a Rwandan mining and refining business of a rare transition metal - ethical & certified conflict-free.
Talanton’s portfolio now includes nine investments. These portfolio businesses support many thousands of farmers, employees and students, plus provide significant impacts to their families and communities. This Quarterly Briefing will focus on two of these new investments to provide you with a deeper look at how your support can make a big difference.
We are ever grateful for the prayers and financial support that make these investments possible. Additional capital and referrals will allow us to invest more quickly in values-aligned, growth-stage businesses in our pipeline.
Together … we can create more jobs, bring more Hope and help more people lift themselves out of desperate poverty.
Financial Update
Talanton currently has $14.1MM in committed capital. We have already exceeded our original $12.5MM budget goal and are prayerfully on track to achieve—or exceed—our $15MM stretch goal to invest in additional pipeline businesses to support many more lives.
We appreciate Talanton's repeat and new investors/donors who believe in and support our mission to help "the least of these" (Matthew 25:40).
Pipeline Opportunities
Talanton continues to be recognized by investors and clients for our thorough due diligence processes and commitment to standards and business parameters.
Our robust demand-pull investment pipeline includes many exciting investment opportunities, including these top prospects:
• Supplier of covered rollers and print consumables • Manufacturer of affordable energy efficient appliances • B2B grower and distributor of fresh produce
We have screened several hundred businesses, closely evaluating more than 70, with many currently in various stages of due diligence. Covid restrictions impact our rigorous evaluation pace, yet the additional time has enabled us to focus on businesses projected to achieve a triple bottom line return – financial, spiritual and social.

Have you ever wondered what’s in your smartphone? Watch this captivating 40-second video to learn why you should care.
Tantalum and niobium are included in a group of elements designated as “vital to industry” by various Western governments, particularly where the supply chain is at risk. The need for these metals mined in Rwanda and needed to support smartphone technology has resulted in unsafe working conditions, abuse of some of the poorest people in the world, and environmental devastation.
PRI, a conflict-free producer of critical metals, is changing that. Its management team is committed to proper mining, safe working conditions, advancement of human rights, environmental stewardship, and reduction in the world’s dependence on minerals from conflict areas.
