Announcing Talanton’s latest Investment - 14th Impact Company

Investing in Impact: Kijani Forestry's Vision for Global Reforestation Talanton is excited to announce an investment in Kijani Forestry, a pioneering tree-planting company aiming to become the world's largest and most impactful. This investment aligns with Talanton's commitment to enhance jobs and incomes for smallholder farmers while deploying market-driven environmental solutions.

In 2023, Kijani planted over 9 million trees and became a leading employer in Northern Uganda. Talanton's funding will expand Kijani's innovative Nursery Hub model into new regions, enabling farmers to engage in sustainable timber and charcoal production without upfront costs. Over 10 years, farmers can quadruple their income per acre, driving transformative economic change.

Talanton is excited to welcome Kijani Forestry, a company that combines growth, innovation, and social and environmental impact supported by a strong potential for financial returns.
